BEAM is your personal storage concierge. With the BEAM Space mobile app, you can now view, manage, and retrieve your items in storage with just a few taps on your mobile devices.

We make storage affordable and provide transparent, standardized costings for storage by item basis or storage by space, all inclusive of insurance. We offer pickup and delivery to your doorstep, at a time convenient to you. BEAM helps you track and manage your belongings so you can enjoy a clutter-free home and office.

Corporate customers who lack storage space, have a need to keep track of inventory, or simply just don’t have the time to stress over storage and transportation, should only have to deal with one vendor - BEAM! The itemized inventory in the mobile app means you’ll always know what you have in storage, and never have to purchase duplicates. Our BEAM Concierge picks up your items from your office, and sends it back to you when you need it, or send it right to your branches and customer premises.

Home customers planning for a house renovation, or simply need to declutter and make space can now do so, since storage no longer costs a fortune! No matter how small or large your requirements are, BEAM’s per-item basis or storage by space solution ensures that you’ll never have to spend more than necessary. You don’t even have to visit a warehouse. Our BEAM Concierge picks up your items from your doorstep, and stores it in our secured warehouse facility. Whenever you need your items back, our BEAM Concierge sends it right back to your doorstep.

Unlike traditional storage providers, BEAM requires NO DEPOSITS! You only have to pay for what you store, nothing more.

There is no minimum storage period. You can store with BEAM for as long (or as short) as you want. Charges are done on a monthly basis to the payment card on file.

BEAM provides insurance coverage of up to $100 per box/item storage or up to $500 for space storage

We do not encourage storage of highly valuable items. If you would like to store anyway, please inform us ahead of time, we also encourage you to take up additional insurance from your providers, or we can help you arrange accordingly.

BEAM’s Concierge storage is designed to make storage simpler and easier. With the BEAM Space mobile app, you can easily store items from your home or office by scheduling for pickups and deliveries, and view your stored items in your mobile devices. There is no need to visit a warehouse.

We store everyone’s items together in an unmarked warehouse, so we do not encourage visitors for security purposes. We will however make exceptions and it has to be scheduled ahead of time.

We also have partner warehouse located across the country which allow self-storage. Please check with us here for such requirements.

The exact location of our warehouse is undisclosed due to security purposes. Our warehouse is intentionally left unmarked and public access to our warehouse is prohibited to ensure the highest level of security for the items stored with us.

Upgrading your account to the VIP/Corporate account entitles you to the following benefits:

  • 4 hour turnaround for pickups and deliveries.
  • Multiple addresses supported. No mover’s fee of $150 incurred when changing addresses.
  • Priority pickup/delivery time slots

Storage


  1. When you have a few items or boxes below 25kg each
  2. When you plan on reducing the number of items stored over time (eg. if you’re an e-commerce business with fast moving stocks or if you’re clearing off your items) - as the number of your items decrease, this cuts the cost of storage
  3. When you want to individually track all your items

If you plan on having the items delivered to a different address from the pickup address, below a period of 6 months, please upgrade your account to the VIP/Corporate account to avoid the mover’s fee of $150. Benefits include:

  • 4 hour turnaround for pickups and deliveries.
  • Multiple addresses supported. No mover’s fee of $150 incurred when changing addresses.
  • Priority pickup/delivery time slots
  • Specific timing requests
  • Dedicated account manager

We encourage you to select storage by space if your requirements are as follow:

  1. When you have many odd-sized and large items above 25kgs which cannot fit into one van load
  2. When you do not need to track your items individually

If you’re not sure how much space you need, do send over images and dimensions of the items for storage here and we’ll do an estimate. On entry into our warehouse, if you’re storing additional items, we’ll just charge you based on an additional blocks of 15sf of space or the next step-up in space allocation or per additional item, whichever is cheaper.

Please note that individual photo item tracking is not available for storage by space, but our concierge is able to help you locate your specific inventory on instruction. Each item is still tracked individually.

Storage by Item

To store by Item, follow the step-by-step instructions below to schedule for a pickup.

Android:

  3. Select your preferred date and time slot
  4. Select your number of items
  5. Ensure the correct address is selected
  6. Specify your special instructions (IF any, e.g. no lift, please take the back entrance etc)
  7. Tap ‘Schedule’


IOS:

  1. Go to the BEAM Space mobile app
  2. Tap ‘Pickup’
  3. Select the number of number of items
  4. Select your preferred date and time slot
  5. Specify your special instructions (IF any e.g. no lift, please take the back entrance etc)

Storage by Space

To store by Space, follow the step-by-step instructions below to schedule for a pickup.

Android:

  1. Go to the BEAM Space mobile app
  2. Tap ‘Pickup’
  3. Select your preferred date and time slot
  4. Select 21+ for the range of number of items
  5. Ensure the correct address is selected
  6. Under Special Instructions, indicate your need for storage by space (eg. 50sqft)
  7. Tap ‘Schedule’


IOS:

  1. Go to the BEAM Space mobile app
  2. Tap ‘Pickup’
  3. Select 21+ for range of number of items
  4. Select your preferred date and time slot
  5. Under Special Instructions, indicate your need for storage by space (eg. 50sqft)
  6. Ensure the correct address is selected
  7. Tap ‘Next’

Yes, BEAM provides Large carton boxes at $5 each, with delivery at $16/trip. If you can pack within 15 minutes, we’ll waive off the delivery fee for the boxes.

However, we strongly encourage you to use your own boxes so you can take your own time to pack and optimize the space. In our effort to reduce our carbon footprint, BEAM encourages all users to reuse carton boxes or any other boxes you have access to. The boxes do not have to be a specific size. Alternatively, you can also store items in luggage bags, which falls under the odd-sized item category for storage. The charges for storage will be based on the dimensions of the box, as specified in our pricing page. Weight is limited to 25kgs for any one box, so you do not injure our concierge during pickup.

BEAM recommends you to schedule a pickup or delivery 48 hours in advance. However, if you have already planned out your packing schedule, you can actually schedule a pickup or delivery up to 2 week in advance.

Scheduling as early in advance as possible gives you a higher chance of securing the exact time slot that is convenient for you. The availability of the time slots are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Should you require an urgent pickup or delivery, please note that there will be an Urgent Pickup/Delivery fee of $100 (or the cost of chartered transportation)

Storage

Boxes and Items are categorised based on the following dimensions:

Small Boxes ($4/month) - A box less than 350x250x250mm

Large Boxes ($8/month) - A box less than 600x350x400mm

Odd-sized Items ($12/month) - Any box or item larger than 600x350x400mm

The above items also need to meet the following criteria, if not, you will have to store by space:

  • Items below 25kg each
  • Items can be carried by a single able-bodied person
  • It can fit into our van


Pickup & Delivery

Pickup is FREE*, delivery is $16 per trip to the same address, only if it meets the above criteria for box/item storage.

*free pickup of up to one vanload (approximately 18 large boxes)

If you’re planning to deliver items to a different address in less than 6 months, this triggers a mover’s fee of $150 within the app. Please do not accept as the charges will immediately apply. If you are already planning to store in view of a move, we suggest that you upgrade to a VIP account to enjoy pickup and deliveries to multiple address at only $35/trip

Storage

15sqft: $55 per month

50sqft: $180 per month

100sqft: $300 per month

We also cater to larger spaces and customized requirements for dismantling of items, specialized movers and etc. Please inquire with our BEAM Concierge in the BEAM Space mobile app or on our website.

Pickup & Delivery

15sqft: $110 per trip

50sqft: $175 per trip

100sqft: $250 per trip

For storage and transportation of larger and heavier items, e.g. pallets, office equipment & etc, or pick-and-pack and last-mile delivery request, please contact us here.

If you’re intending to change the address in less than 6 months from the date of storage, or if you want to move things around to multiple addresses in a short time, please upgrade your account to avoid the $150 mover’s fee.

For businesses, we encourage upgrading to the corporate account.

The VIP/Corporate account entitles you to the following benefits:

Promo codes are only applicable for storage above 3 months.

Security


BEAM respects your privacy and will not open your boxes/items. However, should there be a reason for our BEAM Concierge to suspect that a box/item contains something that is prohibited, BEAM reserves the right to open such box/item to inspect and take the necessary actions.

Yes we do, depending on storage category:

Storage by Item

Insurance coverage of up to $100 per box/item stored.

Storage by Space

Insurance coverage of up to $500 for space storage.

Additional Fees


A mover’s fee of $150 will be incurred for address changes below the period of 6 month from the date of first storage. If you intend to use us for your move and change addresses in less than 6 months, please note these fees. If you wish to avoid this, please upgrade your account to the VIP/Corporate account to enjoy multiple address changes.

Payment


Your storage payment is due on a monthly basis starting from the date your items enter the warehouse, eg. 2nd January, 2nd February etc.

Your transportation charges are due upon completion of the specified task.

All charges will be done via credit-card on file. Please do not provide cash to our concierge or transportation personnel.

To get a receipt, kindly drop us a message via the messaging platform in the BEAM Space mobile app. Our BEAM Concierge will send it over once we have verified your identity.

We will remind you when you payment is due, should your credit card transaction fail. If the payment is not settled within 2 months, BEAM reserves the right to withhold your Items with us for sale or auction (please refer to section 7.9 of our Terms of Use, and we will also impose a late payment charge on outstanding amounts.
