Malaysia's heat and humidity are hard on a stored mattress, and moving one yourself is a two-person job at best. BEAM Space solves both problems: our crew collects your mattress from your door and stores it in our Kuala Lumpur facility, which is actively dehumidified to keep damp and mould at bay.
You pay only for the space your mattress uses, with no fixed-term contract.

Our KL facilities are dehumidified as standard. For items you want kept cooler still, air-conditioned (climate-controlled) storage is available as a premium upgrade at a higher rate.
How to prepare a mattress for storage
In the Malaysian climate, a dry, well-wrapped mattress is everything. Before collection:
- Make sure the mattress is completely dry before it is collected — humidity plus trapped moisture is what breeds mould
- Vacuum and spot-clean both sides, then let it dry fully
- Use a breathable mattress cover rather than sealed plastic, which traps condensation in the heat
- A moisture absorber such as silica gel packed with the mattress helps against high humidity
- Wash, dry and bag bedding separately
With our dehumidified facility and a little preparation, your mattress stays fresh however long it is stored.
