A mattress is bulky, awkward to move, and easy to damage if it is stored the wrong way. BEAM Space takes the whole job off your hands: our team collects your mattress from your door, transports it flat, and stores it in our secure facility until you need it back.
You never wrestle it down a stairwell or into a rental van, and you only pay for the space your mattress actually occupies — not a half-empty storage locker.

Standard storage is clean and ventilated. If you want extra protection against humidity, air-conditioned (climate-controlled) storage is available as a premium upgrade at a higher rate.
How to prepare a mattress for storage
A mattress stores well if it goes in clean and dry. Before collection:
- Air the mattress and make sure it is completely dry — trapped moisture is what causes mould and odours
- Vacuum both sides and spot-clean any marks, then let it dry fully
- Wrap it in a breathable mattress cover, not sealed plastic, which traps condensation
- Store and transport it flat where possible — long periods on its side can let the springs or foam settle unevenly
- Wash, dry and bag bedding and linens separately so they stay fresh
